The dream of the wolf is based on a real dream the creator had when he was five.

While the comic will always be free to read online, the only way to get a physical copy is to be at a convention where the creator happens to be vending at.

Many of these characters are re-imaginings of the original characters that the creator has been drawing since he was in grade school.

The year 1996 was chosen based on the level of technology reached during that year. It also happens to be the year the creator of the comic was born.
